Program

The English program at École Dunluce School provides instruction that follows the mandated Alberta curriculum.  Students begin French as a Second Language instruction for 150 minutes per week beginning in Grade 4. Students with special learning needs are fully included in the regular classroom setting. Instruction is differentiated to meet individual student needs.

We are in the process of opening up our boundaries to become a Level 1 school. Level 1 schools have an open boundary. We are open to any student to register/pre-enrol during pre-enrolment which takes place between February 1 - April 14. During pre-enrolment, Level 1 schools accept new students as follows:
Guaranteed:
Resident students in the attendance area. *Residency is determined by the parent’s address and whether or not the parent/guardian is Roman Catholic.
Siblings of current students who are returning
Remaining spaces are filled in the following order:
1. resident students in the secondary attendance area (if applicable)
2. resident students outside of the attendance area
3. non-resident students
Therefore yes, you may pre-enrol your child.

Transportation: Please note there is no busing for students in the English/Regular program whether or not the parent resides in our attendance area or outside of it.
